A telling sign that it’s time to plan for the Fall
August first is here…I know, we are not ready to think about the end of summer or even consider planning for the Fall, back to school and the holiday season. Sadly, it is a reality. With inventory in the housing market still low and market conditions strong, now might just be the perfect time create a plan for your Fall listing or home search.
One highlight from a recent survey conducted by the National Association of REALTORS® notes that the median days a home is on the market before going under contract has dropped to 27 days. Looking at our local market, Massachusetts came in at 30 days or less while New Hampshire fell between 31-45 days.
These numbers, shared in a recent Keeping Current Matters blog post and Infographic, demonstrate this strong housing market and have those of us in the business gearing up for a busy Fall market. If you are thinking of buying or selling, now is the perfect time to create a plan and prepare for next season!
